Use case

A driver is sick. Three routes have no driver. It is 06:31.

The message says “ik ben ziek”. Mission Control reads it, registers the absence in HR, finds who is available, moves the routes and tells everyone. You approve the one that does not fit.

  • Absence arrives as a WhatsApp, not a form, and often before anyone is at a desk
  • Every reassignment means checking hours, licences, trucks and windows by hand
  • Customers only hear about it when they call
  1. 01

    06:30, your inbox

Every morning starts with the same five fires.

A sick driver with three routes. A truck stuck on the A15. A customer chasing a POD. A carrier asking about next week. An ETA in a WhatsApp group. All before your first coffee.

  2. 02

    AI-led triage

Mission Control reads it before you do.

It bolts onto your Freyt TMS and classifies every message: who is it about, what do they need, which shipment, which day. In Dutch, English or half-and-half.

  3. 03

    Agents act in the TMS

HR, Planning, Fleet and Documents fix the board.

Jan’s absence is registered and his routes reassigned. Truck 14 is logged as down and its route re-vehicled. The POD is sent. Nobody re-typed anything.

  4. 04

    One decision for you

Five of six handled. One question for the planner.

Customers and drivers are informed automatically. The only thing that needs your judgment, a reassignment that misses a window by 45 minutes, comes to you as a single approval.

  5. 05

    Beyond today

Next week is already planned around holidays and sick leave.

The same agents plan forward: availability, capacity and open orders, and the carrier who asked gets an answer. You run the exceptions. Mission Control runs the rest.

What Mission Control does

  1. 01

    Register the absence

The HR agent logs sick leave for today, with a reason if given, and updates availability for planning. No form for the driver to fill in.

  2. 02

Find who can take the routes

Planning checks drivers who are available, qualified and within hours, and moves each route. Trucks follow where possible.

  3. 03

Bring you the one that does not fit

A route that lands outside its window or needs a spot carrier arrives as a single approval with impact and alternative.

  4. 04

    Tell everyone

The driver gets a get-well message, replacements get their day, customers get updated ETAs. On the channel they already use.

Questions planners ask

What if no driver is available?

Planning offers the route to your connected carriers or the Exchange as an alternative and brings you the cost as an approval. Nothing is booked without your yes.

Does it check driving hours and licences?

Yes. Reassignments are only proposed to drivers who are available, hold the required licence for the vehicle and stay within their remaining hours.

What does the sick driver see?

A short reply on the same channel confirming the absence is registered and the routes are covered. Nothing else lands on their plate.
