What is on the screen

  1. 01

    Pick up the vehicle

    Truck, trailer and depot for today. Navigate to the depot, confirm pickup, and the vehicle is marked in use for the planner.

  2. 02

    Today’s route

    Stops in order with time windows, addresses and what to load or deliver. Arrive and depart per stop; ETAs for the next stops update from the truck’s progress.

  3. 03

    Finalise the stop

    Proof of delivery with signature and photo, quantities, remarks. Signed time and signer go straight to the order and the POD is ready for the customer.

  4. 04

    Report a defect

    Describe, rate severity, take a photo. Fleet gets the incident; if the truck is out, Mission Control re-vehicles the route.

  5. 05

    Vehicle papers and inspection

    Registration, insurance and inspection documents on the phone, synced from the fleet record. Daily vehicle inspection with a checklist.

Where Mission Control comes in

Nothing typed twice

Arrive, depart and POD are events in the plan, not messages a planner copies from a group chat.

WhatsApp still works

Drivers who message instead of tapping are read by Mission Control just the same. The app is the fast path, not a requirement.

Absence from the app or the chat

“Ik ben ziek” in WhatsApp or a tap in the app: either way HR registers it and Planning reassigns the routes.

Questions

Which phones does it run on?

iOS and Android, distributed through the App Store and Google Play. It also runs in a mobile browser.

Does it work without signal?

Yes. Stops, signatures and photos are stored on the phone and synced when the connection returns.

How does a driver log in?

With a personal link from the planner. No password to forget; the link is bound to the driver and the device.

Is the driver app extra?

No. It is included in every plan and there is no per-driver fee.
