Use case

Truck 14 is stuck on the A15. Six customers are waiting.

“Sta stil op de A15, truck doet het niet meer.” Mission Control logs the incident, checks which truck is free, sends it, re-plans the route and updates every ETA. You see it done, not the phone ringing.

  • Breakdowns are reported in a chat while the planner is already busy with something else
  • Finding a free truck means calling around
  • Every affected customer needs a new ETA, individually
  1. 01

    06:30, your inbox

Every morning starts with the same five fires.

A sick driver with three routes. A truck stuck on the A15. A customer chasing a POD. A carrier asking about next week. An ETA in a WhatsApp group. All before your first coffee.

  2. 02

    AI-led triage

Mission Control reads it before you do.

It bolts onto your Freyt TMS and classifies every message: who is it about, what do they need, which shipment, which day. In Dutch, English or half-and-half.

  3. 03

    Agents act in the TMS

HR, Planning, Fleet and Documents fix the board.

Jan’s absence is registered and his routes reassigned. Truck 14 is logged as down and its route re-vehicled. The POD is sent. Nobody re-typed anything.

  4. 04

    One decision for you

Five of six handled. One question for the planner.

Customers and drivers are informed automatically. The only thing that needs your judgment, a reassignment that misses a window by 45 minutes, comes to you as a single approval.

  5. 05

    Beyond today

Next week is already planned around holidays and sick leave.

The same agents plan forward: availability, capacity and open orders, and the carrier who asked gets an answer. You run the exceptions. Mission Control runs the rest.

What Mission Control does

  1. 01

    Log the incident

Fleet registers the breakdown against the vehicle with location and time, and takes the truck out of today’s planning.

  2. 02

    Send a replacement

Fleet and Planning pick the nearest available truck, assign it and tell the driver when it arrives.

  3. 03

    Re-plan and re-time

Stops after the breakdown get new ETAs. If a window cannot be met, that stop comes to you as an approval.

  4. 04

    Inform customers

Comms sends updated ETAs on the customer’s channel before they notice anything is late.

Questions planners ask

Can it book roadside assistance?

Not yet. It logs the incident and handles the planning and communication; calling assistance stays with the fleet team, with the details already in the incident record.

What if no replacement truck is free?

Planning proposes a carrier or Exchange option with cost and timing. You approve it in one tap or pick another alternative.

Does the customer see the reason?

You decide. The default message gives the new ETA and an apology without technical detail.
