Partner Capacity Exchange
Open betaFill the empty half of the truck
Partner Capacity Exchange matches your partial loads with carriers you already trust on the same lane. Free, built on an open protocol, and it works with the TMS you already have.
How a match works
Five steps from posted lane to delivered load
Every match follows the same open rules, whichever TMS each carrier uses. Details are released step by step: the other side sees only what it needs to decide, and the full picture only once both of you have agreed.

Built so you can trust it with your customers
You choose your partners
Nothing is visible to anyone until both companies have accepted each other as partners. Exchange is a private network of carriers you know, not an open board.
Details come out step by step
A posted lane shows time, route and free space. Customer names and exact addresses stay hidden until both sides have accepted the deal.
Nothing changes quietly
Every offer, counter, acceptance and delivery is written down and kept. If terms change, a new version is created and both sides accept again.
Your TMS stays your TMS
Exchange never becomes your system of record. The load lands in each carrier's own TMS under its own number, linked by a shared reference.
Built to be joined, not sold
Free
Exchange is included in every freyt.ai tier and free for carriers who do not use the freyt.ai TMS. There is no fee per match.
Open protocol
Exchange runs on the OpenFreytProtocol, a public specification any TMS, broker or portal can implement. No lock-in, and no dependency on freyt.ai to talk to your partners.

Post lanes and capacity from a form, a spreadsheet upload or a connector. Your own TMS stays your own; the load appears there under your own numbers.
How joining works
- 01
Register your company
Tell us your lanes, fleet and the Benelux regions you serve. Registration takes a few minutes and costs nothing.
- 02
Accept your partners
Invite the carriers you already subcontract to, or accept their invitation. Nothing is shared with anyone until both of you have said yes.
- 03
Post, match, agree, run
Post spare space or partial loads. When a lane matches, both of you see the proposal, agree the terms and the load lands in both systems.
Want the messages handled too?
Exchange finds the load. Mission Control reads the e-mails and WhatsApp updates that follow it and keeps your plan current.
Exchange, explained
What is the Partner Capacity Exchange?
The Partner Capacity Exchange is a private freight matching network for Benelux carriers. Carriers post spare capacity or partial loads on a lane and Exchange proposes matches with partners they have accepted, so both trucks run fuller.
What does “open beta” mean?
Exchange is live and free to join, but still early. We are building it together with the first carriers on the network, so features and matching rules will keep improving. Your loads and partner data are handled with the same care as in the full product; what changes is how much Exchange can do for you each month.
Is Exchange really free?
Yes. Exchange is included in every freyt.ai tier and free for carriers who do not use the freyt.ai TMS. There is no subscription and no fee per match.
Do I need the freyt.ai TMS to use Exchange?
No. Exchange runs on an open protocol that any TMS can implement. You can post lanes and capacity by form, spreadsheet upload or connector, and keep planning in the system you already use.
What is the OpenFreytProtocol?
It is the public specification the Partner Capacity Exchange is built on: how capacity and loads are described, how matches are proposed, how terms are agreed and how a load is handed over between two systems. Because it is open, any TMS or broker can connect without going through freyt.ai. The full specification is published at freytcloud.github.io/OpenFreytProtocol.
Who sees my loads?
Only carriers you have accepted as partners, and only on lanes you share. Before a match is agreed they see the lane, time and free space; customer names and exact addresses are released only after both sides have accepted.
What happens if we disagree on price?
The partner who receives the terms can accept them or send a counter with their own price. Every version is kept, and a load is only committed once both sides have accepted the same version.
How is Exchange different from a freight exchange marketplace?
A marketplace lists loads for anyone to bid on. Exchange matches complementary capacity between partners you have chosen, so both keep their own customers and share the trip.
